I cannot get my non-flavored kombucha to fizz, what am i doing wrong?

I have tried everything I can, but I just can't seem to get a non-flavored kombucha to fizz. I have a green + black tea kombucha for F1, I have tried transferring it to a flip top bottle with no sugar, with some sugar, with a lot of sugar, even left it for almost 7 days in F2 after a 14 day F1, and no matter what, I get no carbonation at all, just a more vinegary taste. Any tips?

is it better to use store bought kombucha for the Initial starter or to use a donated SCOBY? I used store bought kombucha to start my current batches, but in the past I used a SCOBY that was already used in many batches. Is there a difference between using one or the other? Is one stronger and more potent and better for the future batches?

How do I make natural flavored kombucha have fizz? I want to just bottle the kombucha straight from F1 to a flip top bottle or to the final bottle, but I never get any fizz, it's even less fizzier than when I bottle it, the F1 has more fizz. Does it matter if I lay my F2 bottles on their side or do they have to be upright to get carbonated? Is there a differenece in carbonation levels if the bottle is laid down vs upright?

if my F1 is still a little bit too sweet, can I bottle it to have a natural flavor and the sweetness will replace the added sugar to create fizz? My F1 tastes a little bit sweet still, so I am wondering if I can just bottle it without adding sugar and if it will continue to ferment and become fizzy as if I added sugar, since it's still sweet from the F1.

Is there any way to fix a batch that didn't fizz? If I already bottled and put it in the fridge, but opened it to find out there is no carbonation, is there a way to fix it? Can I leave it out again to ferment?

What should the PH be of kombucha through the different stages of fermentation? I know the PH is pretty high when starting F1 with the sweet tea, but, should the PH also be at 2.5-3.5 for each fermentation? Meaning, should the end of F1, F2, and F3 be 2.5-3.5?

How long does home brewed kombucha last in the fridge? I made kombucha and put it in the fridge less than a week ago, and it has a bit of a weird taste. It's as if the herbs I used to flavor them were left in and either lost their taste or have too much of their flavor, but they were not left in, I took them out. Is there a limit to how long kombucha can stay in the fridge? Does it matter if it was opened or not? My thought is that maybe because I opened all of them to taste, they lost their freshness?
