Will this sieve ruin my carbonation? I want to bottle my F2 and filter out all of the fruit and herbs I used for flavoring, will this type of sieve ruin or reduce the carbonation?

Does it matter if I lay my F2 bottles on their side or do they have to be upright to get carbonated? Is there a differenece in carbonation levels if the bottle is laid down vs upright?

If I use more starter will F1 finish sooner? If I use 2 cups instead of 1 cup for the same amount of tea, will it ferment and be ready sooner?

Do you need different amounts of sugar for different types of sugar? Does the amount of sugar needed depend on if its white, brown, cane, or other types of sugar? Does it have any impact on the brew?

What do you count as a batch? Does each final bottle count as a batch, or does the F1 container? If 1 F1 container fills 4 bottles, is that 4 batches or 1?

Top Answer: I count each F1 as a batch. I usually have 2-3 F1s going at the same time, I count each of them as a batch, so that's 2-3 batches at once.

Is there any way to fix a batch that didn't fizz? If I already bottled and put it in the fridge, but opened it to find out there is no carbonation, is there a way to fix it? Can I leave it out again to ferment?
