What do I do if i can't tell if my F1 is sour, sweet, or tart and it all tastes the same to me?
I don't think it's weird at all, I can't tell the difference in mine either! I always have to get others to try out my batches to tell me if they are sweet or vinegary or what ever they taste, otherwise I just don't know! So my advice is to just ask others to taste it, if anyone is brave enough to try it.

If I can hear the caps leaking carbonation, does it mean my F2 wont be carbonated at all?
Nope, you will still get carbonation, but it depends how much the bottles are leaking. I recently bought bottle caps for old kombucha bottles I have, their original caps were thrown away so I ordered what I thought were good ones. I filled almost 30 of them up and found out they were also leaking like yours, but they still carbonated really well. ...

I am in the middle of my F2, some are natural flavor and some are flavored with fruit or herbs, I decided to lay them all down because I read somewhere that it helps with potential carbonation leaks, and I can tell you that none of them carbonated. T...

Do you need different amounts of sugar for different types of sugar?
Does the amount of sugar needed depend on if its white, brown, cane, or other types of sugar? Does it have any impact on the brew?

What do you count as a batch?
Does each final bottle count as a batch, or does the F1 container? If 1 F1 container fills 4 bottles, is that 4 batches or 1?

I count each F1 as a batch. I usually have 2-3 F1s going at the same time, I count each of them as a batch, so that's 2-3 batches at once.

Is there any way to fix a batch that didn't fizz?
If I already bottled and put it in the fridge, but opened it to find out there is no carbonation, is there a way to fix it? Can I leave it out again to ferment?

if my F1 is still a little bit too sweet, can I bottle it to have a natural flavor and the sweetness will replace the added sugar to create fizz?
My F1 tastes a little bit sweet still, so I am wondering if I can just bottle it without adding sugar and if it will continue to ferment and become fizzy as if I added sugar, since it's still sweet from the F1.

How do I make natural flavored kombucha have fizz?
I want to just bottle the kombucha straight from F1 to a flip top bottle or to the final bottle, but I never get any fizz, it's even less fizzier than when I bottle it, the F1 has more fizz. How much sugar should I be adding to it so it doesn't come out so flat?

What do I do if i can't tell if my F1 is sour, sweet, or tart and it all tastes the same to me?
It may sound weird, but I cannot tell if my F1 is sweet, sour, or tart. It tastes like all of them. I have 3 different batches going, one with green + black tea, another with green + white tea, and another with green + hibiscus, they all taste differently, but they also all taste slightly sour, weirdly sweet, and have a vinegary after taste. This has happened in the past also with other batches I have done, so I don't think it's because of the tea I used. How can I tell if it's done?

Do you have anyone else who can taste them? I think that would be your safest bet. Can you compare the kombucha to store bought kombucha? Maybe having some and tasting both one after another can give you a sort of base line on where the flavors shoul...
